I am curious what the OEM fuel tank color is on the 2003 KX500. I searched Bike Bandit and it shows two part numbers, but only one part number has a description of Black. Here is what I found:

Part #51083 No description available, nor is it available for purchase.
From the pictures it appears the second part #51083 has different graphics on it. If so, were there two seperate graphic options for that year??
I love the OEM look and want to go that route. I purchased my bike with a black fuel tank and just wanted to make sure that it is the actual OEM tank.

It's black. I found one e-bay a couple years ago...this is an actual OEM '03 tank, with the original decals on it. It's still on my bike as we speak.

Excellent thank you for your lightning fast reply!!! It looks like I am good to go on my OEM gas tank, however my bike has been stripped completely of graphics on the tank and radiator shrouds, and the side panels have some retarded Metal Mulisha graphics on them which are to be removed ASAP.
Looking on bike bandit again: https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/2003-kawasaki-kx500-kx500e/o/m149331#sch300530 (https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/2003-kawasaki-kx500-kx500e/o/m149331#sch300530) it appears the LH side graphics are unavailable for the both the fuel tank and radiator shrouds. Is there another source that anyone knows about where I can obtain all 4 of these graphics (tank and radiator shrouds both sides)???
Finally, I know the OEM side panels are white however I am curious if they are bare from the factory, or does the bike come with black backgrounds on them? If so, is there a source for those graphics as well??

I created a thread on EVO a couple years ago...unfortunately...Photobucket ruined everything, so the pics of all the decals Frank made for me, aren't visible. I might have the pics in one of my old digital cameras...I'll try to look over the next few days.
