sleeve might have wear as well as bolt , it does not take much for a bit of slop.

ive found on some of my other bikes when I miked up the bolts they had up to .4mm of wear on them. This across all the bolts and the linkage length was equal to about 1 - 2mm of play on the end of the swing arm. I replaced all the bolts with new OEM and I havnt had an issue since. But yeah like anything everything has its life.
