Title: Will a 1998kx 250 triple clamp fit a 1994 kx250 frame?

I recently purchased 1998 kx250 forks not realizing they would not fit my 1994 triple clamps. Can I just swap the triple clamps for a 1998 set? HELP haha.

I haven't done this switch over on your particular bike but have with older CR's. You will have to switch out steering stems on the triple tress /bearings which will require a press. Also keep in mind the steering stops my be in different locations, not the end of the world, you can add or remove material as needed. Adding will obviously require some welding. Hope this was of some help
