Title: The Last KX500

Does anyone know how to find out what the serial number of the last kx500 is ?  It would be nice to know who has the newest 500 on this site.

I'm 48 years old
'04' KX500-E16
Engine # KX500BE024508
Delivery Date 10/1/04
I should be close to the last one, I called 12 states and about 25 dealers
found my bike in Colorado. As far as the 1st KX500 I'll do some research.

Danger4u2, I think you have one too many digits in your engine number.  I am 49years old and my engine number is KX500BE 024452.  I got mine 9/22/04, I had to drive to eastern (warren) Ohio from Michigan to get it. It does look like yours may be newer if the last digit is dropped. I think this will be interesting to find out how close to the "end" our bikes are. Would Kawasaki give out the ending serial number?

Danger, your bike is "56" units newer than mine.  In last months Great Lakes trail rider newsletter there were two adds from the same guy, he had a new never ridden 04 kx500 for sale and a new 01 cr500 that had never been started, for sale. He wanted $5500. each. I was guessing he was going to keep them for years as new but needed some cash and his plans were spoiled.

I talked to my friend at House of Kawasaki in Oklahoma City, he works parts. Told me I should talk to sales rep. I ordered rad. braces, when I pick them up I will see if he can help us with the first and the last.

My 04 is KX500 BE023884. So it is not the last. Interesting stuff this.
