Title: Proper head gasket install
Post by: Hawkeye58 on October 23, 2017, 03:45:08 PM
Hey guys,
Using either of the all metal head gasket choices, the .4 or .2
What is the correct side up? Raised ridges up, or down?

typically Up
but also make sure the holes for the water jackets are lined up/configured properly before you put the head on and torque it down...meaning take a look at how they line up with the ridges down also, just to be sure.
