Same answer I gave you on eBay :-)
FITS 87-93 KX250 - 13161-1145
Somebody might know this...
In 1994 the kx500 switched from a smaller spline size to a larger spline size on the shift shaft.
The rest of the shaft is exactly the same.
So, you can drop in a 94-04 kx500 shift shaft into a 89-93 kx500 engine and run the 06-06 kx450f shift lever...
I'm wondering if the same sort of thing is possible for your 92 kx250.... IE try a 94-96 kx250 shift shaft but be prepared to buy a new shift lever..
Anybody?

Did you ever find out if the interchange to newer 94-96 was workable on the 87-93 kx250?

It would of been good to see what was busted on that part , these days you can virtually get anything reproduced or repaired , but it can be costly ,or you buy the 94-96 part and see the differance it could be a small change that could be altered all you might have to change another part to make it work which is usally the case.
