Hi,

I can buy a '78 KX500 which is completely torn apart. What are typical things I should inspect at this bike?

Concerning normal wear, but even more the tear parts. Because it's a one your model.
How to recognize a worn power valve, for example?

I think 83 was the first year of the KX500.
