The more modern the better

You can throw on any year front fender....it's the front number plate you'll need to figure out...you will more than likely need to mod it to fit...even if you get the same year #plate as the fender.
Slight chance you might be ok, but expect to do some mods of some kind....easy trimming to fit mods.

The 2008 KXF 450 shrouds will bolt on at the tank, but you will need to make a couple of brackets for the two bottom holes. I have a set on my 2005 125, and they look really nice. You can also use 2009 KX 250F fork guards and eliminate the guides that clamp on the forks without having to worry about the guards sticking out. The 2014 fender bolts on with no issues, but you will need to modify the number plate with something to hold it to the triple clamps. The 2005 used posts on the number plate and holes in the clamps. The 2014 is opposite. You could even use a couple of zip ties if you don't want to modify it too much.

The back is another story. You would need to modify a lot of things to get anything newer to bolt on. LundMX has a video on YouTube where he modified an entire later model subframe to fit. It looks trick, but was a lot of work and included welding.

I just reread that post and saw you were only asking about fenders. Sorry, I'm on vacation and my brain is not plugged in today.

It all comes down to how much time you wanna put into, and how good you are with "fitting/trimming".
A dremmel tool with small cutting wheels makes it a breeze.

You'll be fine...just trim little bits at a time, then hold it up into place, see how it looks....trim a little more if needed, hold it up in place again...and repeat until it fits nice and snug. 😎

This was done on a guys bike I was reading about a few days ago.  They are now in the process of making a kit for the 125 and 250 that will allow you to put the new plastics in place.  I am sure it will be pricey!  But it completely changed the look..

Do you have a link or pics?  I'd love to see what it looks like.

Here you go Umberto..  VERY CLEAN!!  Under the last picture in the article "A full kit is in the works for KX125/250 and should be available later this year."   I may have to sell something to get that kit for the 250  :-D

That's a good point. I bet the 2014-15 front fender and number plate would look better.

I hope this kit offers all the pieces at a discount. Kawasaki wants $488 for the subframe, around $125 for the air box (didn't add it all up, just estimated in my head), and $377 for a tank.  I'm assuming you can buy a seat from SDG or the like for around $100 or so. So you're over $1,000 just in factory parts, before you even add the side panels and whatever they charge for brackets, etc.

That being said, man it looks cool and it would really modernize the ergonomics. It seems to make a nice flat seat tank junction.

Iam not a fan of the new style front fenders or front number plates at all.  That is the only thing I dont like about this thing.  There is alot to the kit that will make it pricey.  We can hope Kawasaki will just decide they need a couple 2 strokes again and start producing a 125 and 250.  :-D

So I've been trying to see if I can figure out the PC kit to fit the plastics to my bike.  It looks like they used parts from the KX250F, judging from the gas tank that has two outward facing bolts on the tank.  The 450 tank has a downward facing bolt at the front:

The sub frame looks to be a pretty close fit, bolting up on the left side (judging from the distance from the exhaust mount to the frame mount on the subframe, it looks to be the same from the 250F and the 125), and requiring a pretty simple looking bracket on the right:

(http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag75/umberto_32/right%20side%20subframe%20comparison_zpsxigstt6z.jpg~original)(http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag75/umberto_32/left%20side%20comparison_zpsawlprooi.jpg~original)

I'm not sure if the tank fits without modification, but it must be pretty easy as it looks to fit really well.  The airbox would be simple, just using the stock two stroke stuff and a blank plate fit over the box.

I think you would have to adapt the radiator louvers from the 250F to mount the shrouds, but I can't really see.  Does anyone have a 2017 250F to take a picture of how the shrouds mount?

The only seat I could find was the Acerbis X-Seat.  Does anyone have experience with that seat?  I don't think SDG makes one yet, and Kawasaki only wants $377 for theirs.   :-o

It looks like the radiator shrouds must snap in to place using a post on the louvers, and the louvers bolt to the radiators.  It's hard to see the snap in post so I put an arrow pointing to it.
