Title: Brake line for 2 inch risers
Post by: Jerry Kimm on May 13, 2017, 09:18:22 AM
Does anyone know what brake line I need to be long enough for 2 inch handlebar risers on a 97 kx250? The one that is on it is stock, and it doesn't seem to have much slack now.

I would say a stock line +2". I added a Scott's Performance under mount stabilizer on my bike and it raised the bars about an inch, so I had a custom front brake line with +1" added made by Core Moto. They make some awesome custom brake lines, you can choose through a ton of mix and match colors. I'm not affiliated with them, just a fan of their brake lines. Check em out http://www.coremoto.com/.

Thanks Sharpshooter, I'll try them. I just knew that the line that is on it now isn't long enough. I'm 6'5", and need to bring the bars up a little higher to be more comfortable.
