It's interesting that they went back to the orange frames. I thought they would be reserving that for the Factory Editions only from here on out.
-
The older models with the black rims, black spokes, and black frame looked bland to me.
I think the orange frames make those bikes pop... for pumpkin colors :-D
-
I agree, the orange frame just looks a ton better. Once again, for a pumpkin. :-D

It seems like everyone is very impressed with the bikes so far. KTM is really pushing their two strokes out in front of the other manufacturers with fuel injection, electric start, and the engine counter balancers. If the Japanese want to get a piece of this growing two stroke market, they had better hurry before the technological leap is too great. We're all looking at you Kawasaki.

I completely agree. They are already behind the 8 ball. Do I think they can do it? Yes I do but as you stated they had better get busy. All of the Japanese 2 strokes are old technology. Even yamaha keeps rolling out a 10 plus year old 250 2 stroke, I know yamaha finally came out with a "trail" version of the 250 2 stroke but it really is the same old technology. I hope they get going as it will only push the technology by all manufactures even farther.

You would think KTM selling more two strokes than the Japaneses sell four strokes combined would be all the push they need. I'm still dumbfounded that they keep ignoring how popular off road two strokes are. Not to mention how much more fun and cheaper racing was when two strokes ruled. Motocross Action lets the AMA and the manufacturers have it whenever they cover the two stroke world championships. The entire article is about how much better two strokes are and how stupid the factories (except the Europeans) are for ignoring them. Oh well, I guess we'll all be riding orange when we can no longer get parts for our beloved KXs.

Heck, even Gas Gas is dropping coin on their two strokes. Dirt Rider rode them and seems to be pretty impressed with the changes.
