Post by: harrisT on February 23, 2017, 04:35:28 PM
I was riding my bike one days and it started like after 2 or 3 kicks so I came back and parked bike like for 15 min and tried to kickstart it and have no compression what can be the issue.

You need to check valves regular ,we found on 250 f that get ridden hard the inlet valves are buggered at around 50 hrs mark , you need good seats put in the head and keep a eye on the guides as well , air cleaner and oil and filter maintenance goes along way on these bikes , a hour meter is a must , you don,t realize how many hrs you clock up .these bikes are reliable if you keep the parts and maintenance up to them , if you don,t it will cost you .
