Recently purchased 2001 KX5

yeah i mostly play on 1/4mile these days. I not long sold my 99 ktm300 and regretted it so i found a K5 in really nice shape to play with it in the woods! I have it stripped down now doing suspension and just finished up with the top end! once its done and my 01 OEM decals come in i will post more pictures of the K5.

I remember I just happened to stumble onto kxriders back in 2011...I was doing google searches for K5 info, and this site showed up a few pages into the search.

It's been a great place...so many guys have shared their great info...even some of the older threads from '03 and up are still very useful.

Welcome to the site! My wife went to the ISDE in 03. You rode the ISDE Qualifier in NJ I believe. My wife and I also rode and we live about 5 minutes from there.

Whoops just noticed it was your buddy that rode the ISDE. Cool to have been there in a support role. Wasnt much of a vaca for me! It was 2 weeks of work, work work!
