Title: Kx 125 rebuild!
Post by: Brightspark on September 10, 2016, 06:17:22 AM
[img]http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh488/robbieliddle/20160910_135525.jpg/img] :-D this is my kx 125, been told it's a 2001 however the frame numbers are coming back as a 1990? Got the bike cheap, only issue is that the gearbox has an issue when it'll jump out of 1st into neutral. Got a few goodies on it as well. Hope to be rebuilt by the summer. If anyone can point me in the direction of some part numbers, need new gear cogs and a shift barrel and forks. Thanks

only issue is that the gearbox has an issue when it'll jump out of 1st into neutral.

that very well could be as simple as a broken snap ring...a $2 part...or worst case, it could be worn gear sets.
post the frame VIN# and engine I.D. numbers, that'll help with accuracy for part#'s.
