Title: Anyone know 2004 KX250 shock length/interchange?

I have found info for the 2005+ (470mm) and I have a 2002 and 1998 shock in the parts bin but I am building up a 2004 frame and need a shock for it. I know it was different from the 2003 and under but no clue compared to the later years. 
Hoping someone that has a 2004 shock they can measure the eye-to-eye on or has put a more recent 450/250f shock on and had good luck before I just ebay a normal 2004 shock.
