Title: Ignition cover search

I am looking for a raw aluminum ignition cover.
My service honda kx500af pipe is slowly melting the stock plastic one.
Do I have any options besides stripping and polishing a boyesen?

I bought a 93 kx 500 that came with a carbon fiber Kawasaki ignition cover. I don't know where the hell the previous owner found it . But obviously they do exist.

I don't know anything about carbon fiber. Like how does it hold up to heat and warping?

It does fine. They make carbon fiber exhaust pipe guards I have one. It doesn't do anything to it
