Title: Breaking Pipe Mount Tabs on KX500

Broke the top pipe mount tab off my '03 500..... But, the weld didn't break, the tab metal broke. Who's got the "fix" for this and suggestions to prevent others from breaking? I run a PC pipe and made "adjustments" to the pipe mount tabs to get it to fit properly but nothing to the frame tabs.....

welcome to the site ktmSX114...

if you do a "search" on here, for broken upper pipe mounts, there's tons of threads on the subject.
what you'll find most guys end up doing, is fabricate and weld up their own mount....making it extra beefy.
