The 1999 KX250 has no gasket for the centre cases?
Is this a standard thing and i just use sealant or can i actualy buy a gasket from the likes

There is no center gasket, they're matched cases.  Use a good sealant like Yamabond or Threebond.

Loctite does offer some similar product, but I can't vouch for them.

I have been using Permatex  #51531 for 20 plus years with great results it is a Anaerobic flange sealant  Hyster uses if on all their transmissions and differentials thats where I came up with the idea.

I've used that as well on Ski-Doo/Rotax cases in the past, with no problems what-so-ever....good stuff.
