Pretty fun project, of course I'm a bit biased towards the 04s.

The '04 KX250-M2, my all-time favorite bike to date. Last year for the older engine which is a tough bird with enough meat every where to get the job done, spot on handling that corners & is stable and the chassis refinements of the M models that are tough & make working on a breeze (beefier foot peg mounts, lots of 8 & 10mm hardware, etc). Still very competitive even today off-road (I'm still putting mine on the box till this day). Just like how I keep restoring & reusing my old scoots (can't find suitable replacements I like more), I'm glad the magazines are on board too with the older racebike fixer-uppers. Glad it was an '04, though I'd rather the secret of how good this often overlooked bike stay in the box!

Nice bike, I love the KXs. If you look closely at the video, the front Dirt Star rim is caved in, the lower pipe mount is falling off and rear Dirt Star is bent too.

Guess it's just a real dirt bike too, just not a garage queen
