Title: Will 2005 KX 250 Fork Tubes work with 2007 Internals?

Does anyone know if the 2005 fork tubes and lower legs will work with 2007 internals?  I am going to send off my tubes and lower legs to get coated, but it will be quite a while before they get back (they would be headed to Japan).  I was thinking of buying a set of 2005 forks off eBay and swapping in my 07 internals just while the 07 stuff is gone.  Does anyone know if this will work?
