Hi, rebuilding/restoring an 86 500 for my son's friend. So joined for easier searches and because have and will have a few questions regarding this monster  :evil:

I'm so old dirt was still fresh when I started riding and 2smokes didn't have reed valves. Hint : bought a 72 Elsinore new !!

welcome Johnny!... don't sweat it, there's a few old timers on here... that're even still rippin on 500's too.

post some pics of your build/resto project when you get a chance.

Still working on it. Got sidetracked by a Banshee total rebuild.
Question is I found a link to online PDF manual, but can't find it now.
