Title: Hello All, 40 yr old and a fast bike = ???
Post by: metor on July 31, 2005, 06:07:03 PM
Hi
My mame is charles cobb. I live in dayton Nevada. I have not rode dirtbikes for 25 yrs. I used to race honda's back in the day. I bought this bike 1 month ago a 96 kx500 great condition. I have not rode a bike this fast before. After the first ride I was already looking for a slower 250 everything was a blur. The second ride I blew past my son. My brain said "I can beat my son's bike" Keep this thing. Now aprox 10 rides later I love it and what else is weard is some of my racing style is comming back after 25 yrs. Sorry if this was boaring. You all will probably see me around this form asking newbe questions, and yes I will use the search first.

Hi Metor  Good choice in bikes!!  After a while you'll be asking about modifications to get it to go faster!
One thing I had to learn was "throttle control"  These bike are fast and fun, ENJOY!!
