Will this work?
I know the front wheels changed bearings/axles (bigger diameter) in 94, the rear in 97
But, could you take later bearings and put them in the earlier wheels? (same outer diameter of bearings for example?)
I ask b/c I have a 97 KX500, but I've got the chance to get a bunch of 91 KX500 parts in great condition for a low price. Would be nice to have some spares.....
Thanks!

Surely theres got to be bearings that will do the job. Did the bearing size change in the rear or was it just the number of bearings, from 2-3? Check out bikebandits online OEM parts and compare part numbers. Hope this helps. .Tim. [:=\}

When Kawasaki first changed to the larger axles they used a shim on the smaller axle to fit the bigger forks at Baja and B.I.T.D races.May be a cheaper way to go.
