Title: Complete! But not done...
Post by: gowen on July 24, 2005, 07:37:15 AM
Well, I just completed my Super KX. :-) I am not finished though, waiting on some plastics... ect. ect. But it breaths life!

Here is what it includes:

Eric Gorr (2mm overbore) built/w C12 head cut and a super thick head gasket with a paper thin base. Special custom porting to my asking for all top. Just plated and ported due to a serious lockup.
Custom built +6 Swingarm
Race Tech Gold Valves - Shock/Forks
PVL Ignition Kit
Boyesen Rad Valve
FMF Gnarley Rev (Desert) Pipe/PCore Silencer
Pro Tapers
W.E.R. Steering Damper
PWK 40mm Carb

Here is what it is getting but has not yet gotten:

New plastics and graphics
10 cup paddle (have but don't want to install yet)
a mile of green field to run in. :-)

Hill climbing and 1/4 mile racing (dirt). It'll do good I think.

I guess it depends on how big your balls are, I know the bike will do it!

I really like your graphics! :)

Hi Cam, so far, breaking it in, it has done wonderfully. I decided to go with from the 155 main to 165 due to the scare of siezing the engine again. I'll see how it performes before changing it back. I concluded that since the ignition allows it to rev 20% further, that I should keep it well lubricated during that stress. :-) Aside from that, I've kept to the same'ol from the stock jetting that you and I worked our asses off trying to get streight. I'm still using the same spark plug from then. So, it is pretty crisp now. I'll keep an update and pictures of how it does.

Thanks again
