yeah...there's decent snow at the tip of Maine, in Aroostook County...but I really want to ride it around home for it's 1st run, just to be sure everything's ok, no surprises.
It would really suck to drive 8 hours up through Maine, and then have some kind of failure immediately.
It's still early though...we didn't start getting snow until January 23rd last year.

Where are the motorcycle or four wheeler tracks? I figured you'd be out in that as soon as it started snowing. :-D

How did you fair down there Motorrad, any flooding?
Not bad I don't like to sweat, we have a little snowboard park with a bunch of rails and jumps (no sleds or trash can lids) by our ranch, best kept S.D. local secret spot for almost 20 yrs(unless the USFS ruined It while thinning the forest this year) so will probably get a boarding session in today and ride tomorrow.

anything over 30 degrees, would be light sweatshirt and shorts....once it gets below 30, and/or if it's snowing out, then the big boy pants go on.
40 degrees and above...t-shirt/shorts.

Lots of roof leaks on my school's taking out all my electric systems.... Been crazy down here...
Anything below 70 is jacket weather... Below 68. I start bitching. And just stay indoors.

been 26 days now since we've seen any rain....had a 5min shower Tuesday morning, but that barley wet the pavement.
haven't even touched the bikes in over two weeks, since it's like riding in baby powder everywhere....and still no rain expected for the next 10 days out. :|

Don't feel bad it's been 100-110 with a 7000 acre fire burning for a week. No rain for almost 2 months!! Today is a chilly 95
-
yeah I've seen those fires on the news!!....that's crazy!!
it's unusual for us to go this long without rain...but there's a big 'ole High Pressure sitting right over New England, that's been making all the good rain making storms deflect to the north and south of us....but on the plus side, it's also keeping the high humidity away....we've been lucky to be in the mid 70's to low 80's here on the immediate coast, with dew points in the low 50's.
though Mon & Tues the dew points are supposed to climb into the low 70's...might as well just breath water at that point.
