ya the long track moutainhorse is the way id go if my wallet were in agreeance id be on it right now. there as some d.i.y's out there but  i think id stay with timberland.

Wonder what that thing is capable of on a big lake with just enough snow to not wash out the front end? Looks pretty d**n fast!!!

I can tell you from experience they are not friendly at speed, hard packed trails suck, virgin snow is where its at, these things are amazing where they go, and side hill like no other. I contemplated one but decided to stick with the sled. If I was going to get one, it would for sure have the shock in place of where your current shock is instead of the rigid rod, there is no way you can make the front end go up in the rigid (stock timbersled) form, for the 800 you can get a shock, so then you have two on the slider and one in the OEM position and I think then you could pull the front end up a litltle.

The Yeti is night and day difference. The ride down the mountain is almost the best part of the day. Roosting berms like crazy. you can trust the ski 100%.

for anyone interested, NPP is doing testing and design of snowbike specific pipes. things are a little different when the pipe is covered in snow all day. he's got some pics on his facebook page.
