Title: 2003 KX500
Post by: cmotodad on December 07, 2015, 12:37:51 PM
Just picked up an 03 KX5. It is soo clean, all stock plastic no scratches with the original stickers on rear fender. Was going to use the motor for an AF but it is too clean to tear apart. Any pricing ideas? Thanks, Bob

If truly clean then $4,500+
Seen them rarely in NJ but they go fast.

A new set of stock graphics would put this bike into the amazing category

That is a nice one.  New graphics and a bit of touch up paint and that thing could go back on the showroom floor.  Did you get any history on the bike cmotodad?

The "parts bike" that Danger let me borrow the carb from is pretty close to that nice.  It has a few more hours on it, but it's a really nice bike.

I bought it from a friend that was going to make an AF out of it. He has a longtime friend that he bought it from. The original owner rode it a couple times a year for a few years. It sat for awhile then he rode it a couple times after that. I have too many bikes and it will be up for sale. If interested, let me know. Thanks, Bob
