Live in Mn, Just picked up a 2000 Kx 500 while I was down in AZ, going to be a winter project. cant wait to rip it come spring!

Welcome, I have a nephew and niece in Minneapolis.
My sister lives way north in Angora, MN.
That's getting close to Canada.

Yeah it is, wanted to stay in AZ, was warm!!! The KX will keep me busy this winter for a lil while  :-D

Thanks, Yeah I  looked at a few and this was the best I found. Going to strip it down this weekend and go through it!

OH YEAH!! All the parts are on order, bringing the motor/linkage/swing arm all in to be blasted and cleaned tomorrow, then reassemble asap!!!

Updated picture on the winter project, cleaned up the motor, did some polishing...going back together!

LOL!! Yeah I cant wait to rip this thing!! anyone know where I can get a case saver? stock one is shot...looking for a nice aftermarket one.

Thanks, went with a little blue anodized and the blue hose kit to break up the green and black a little. Waiting for parts to get back from powder coating now, hopefully have it mostly done by the end of January
