Title: Crank outer width across flywheels for rebuild KX250 1999
Post by: toecutter on September 22, 2015, 04:17:15 AM
Currently rebuilding my 1999 KX250.

When I pressed apart the crank I forgot to take an overall outer width of the flywheels.

Does anyone know what it should be?

The manual only states the side clearance for the rod, is it OK just to use that?

Thanks

Once side clearance on the rod is set/ overall outer width of flywheels should be correct if you used correct rod kit
Rod kit {different brands} can vary a little but rod side clearance is the important bit to get right
