Title: Rear brake caliper is loose

Is this normal, the rear brake caliper on my new to me '01 kx250 has some play. It rattles up and down with about an 1/8th of an inch on the guide rail thing

Yeah they get worn out.
You can pull the brake off and tig weld up the mount on the swing arm and or the brake mount and hand work them to fit.
