Hey guys just got my 98 kx250 back together and she rips! But the clutch plates are smoked I can feel it when im riding, and when I take off I have to throttle it. I was jsut wondering what are the best clutch plates under 150$? Please I need em bad and also what are the torque specs for plates? thanks guys

A new set of springs would help , if you want to go one better , get a set that is stronger. Hinson the big name in clutch plates , how the basket look ?

I havent taken it apart yet but im pretty sure its the plates and springs, when i take off i have to give it alot of throttle or she will stall. I want hinson plates but theyre hard to find for a 98 kxdino.

I've never tried Pro-X but they make other OEM products that seem to perform ok.
