Title: 1987 KX 250

Local bike for sale lists bike as a 1987 parts bike.  Tank included with bike is white? Not green appears to be stock tank.
Whats the deal? Did any KX from that era come with white tank or is this tank aftermarket?

I just got a 87 the tank is green.
Maybe painted.

All KXs were green. There were white KDXs, an optional color, in the late 80's and early 90's.

unscrew the fuel cap and look into the tank....if it's green, you'll know it's painted.

post pics of the tank, inside and outside ...  maybe its a special made , if it is not painted...  8-)
