Found a little problem with the water pump cavity on the clutch casing today. This is what happens when its left standing for a long time (not by me I might add) and limescale rots the ally away.
Can I get a replacement (kx500 '87 I think)or is it a weld up, grind and re drill hole job?

JB Weld will fix it. I fixed a few Huskies with it back in the '80s when they first switched to water cooling and found that their magnesium cases were eating away. :(
