No one? Do I need to be the Ginnie pig?
-
I'm constantly trying new tires that no one else I ride with wants to be the 1st to try....
and if I don't like the tire, I tell them it worked great just so they go buy one anyways....
that looks like a fairly aggressive tire...I wouldn't hesitate to try it....it's got decent reviews.

I am patiently waiting on a Kenda Equilibrium rear tire. The GT 216 looks like it would be a good front to go with it.

Funny you say that... I was looking hard at that tire today

Let me know. Sounds like a great tire...

I have been running the Kenda Trak Master 2 on my little bikes lately with decent luck. Using them in the hard rocky southern NV dirt. There not the best tire out there but they perform relatively close to the maxxis IT But they cost about $50 a piece.

the equalibrium is an interesting concept. trials compound. with bigger, wider spaced knobs. and sid eknobs.

Motosport exclusive. The front tire side walls become soft after about 4 or 5 rides. The tires do not chunk or tear off knobs in the Nevada desert and wear like iron. If it wasn't for the side wall issue on the fronts these tires would be perfect as they handle great!
4th of July promotion.
Artrax Tire Combo
$157.98
$79.50 (50% off)
Or
$46 for the rear tire alone
$37.50 for the fronts alone

What are you running jpegger? The SX1? or the SE3?

When I run ARTRAX it's usually the SX1
-
I want to try an Artrax eventually...some of their tires look pretty aggressive.

At $80 for a set of tires of course i'm going to try them out!

I'll never buy a different front than one of these...this thing sticks like Velcro on soft to medium terrain...period.

I've never had "soft to medium" terrain all our riding is on rock hard desert floor with rocks

I always had good luck with Michelin fronts too...

I put a hard day of single track gnarly roots, rocks, off camber etc. and the Kenda Equilibrium worked great.
Hooked good in the fast switchbacks also. I never once missed my trials tire. The braking was much better than a trials tire too.
