Title: suspension for my 1993 kx500?

bumps,ruts,jumps,impacts,even rocks is all to be expected on a motocross track, in order to be fast and not wear yourself out you need to be smooth, smooth is not really something that is said alot about the brutal kx500, but a key component to being smooth is good suspension,wich i don't have, both my front and rear shocks apear to be empty of oil and in a need for a overhaul ontop of that i'm almost as beefy as the kx500 itself and need some stiffer springs in my suspension, wich brings me to the point of this topic, i contacted a ''suspension expert'' in my local erea wo told me he could'nt overhaul and set up my suspension for me becuse he could'nt find the parts for it, so i email the dealership who is most likely the one who imported the bike to this country and they have yet to reply, then i thought maybe i could get some newer year suspension and buys some stiffer springs,(me not being able to overhaul a nitrogen filled shock) so i find this on ebay:                                                                                                                                            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/01-KX500-forks-shock-set-suspension-fork-leg-8-11832-/191251346932?hash=item2c8777f5f4 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/01-KX500-forks-shock-set-suspension-fork-leg-8-11832-/191251346932?hash=item2c8777f5f4)

wich i don't know if it will fit but it apears to be in good condition and even dlc coating on the legs,

so to sum up, are the any better solution to this? will 01 fit on a 1993? and also i'd like to get all the suspension tips about the k5 i can get in this topic, any suggestion,tip,help, is greatly appriciated! :-)

www.cmsnl.com  for oem-parts and you can compare the several years...  the kx500 had not much big updates from 1989 -2004 ... all parts are available for the rear shock ....

If you want newer forks for your 93 get some 97-04 kx500 triples, then you can run 97-04 kx500 forks but you will also need the front brake caliper, axle, and front wheel.

Or you can run the 97-04 kx500 triples, and you can run up to 2015 kx450f forks but, you will also need the front brake caliper, axle, and front wheel.

i should probably update this one :-D after i got the stock forks rebuildt and re sprung i bougth a 2002 kx500 triple, im going to safe up some money and buy a kx450f front end but my bike needs other parts before that :|
