Title: can anyone cross reference these two 2000 kx 250 tranny bearings?
Post by: Actionman on May 04, 2015, 08:43:40 PM: The countershaft bearing and the bearing that the clutch shaft ride on. Those d**ned bearings are $35 each! If I can cross reference them it would be great. Anyone have an inside line on cheapo bearings?
TMB205/56-5 number stamped on countershaft bearing

Post by: TwiceDead on May 05, 2015, 12:48:50 AM: Get on a Kawasaki microfiche for your bike. Get the kawi part #s for me. I cross referenced the bearings not long ago. I will go back to my papers.

I went with kawi bearings after because they were the best quality for the price. INA, SKF, timkin, ntn from suppliers were much more expensive than kawi bearings for same quality.

Contact your local kawi dealer and get a quote on those bearings. You may find they will sell you the bearing less than the list price.

I would only use quality bearings if I were you.
No Chinese stuff or there is a good chance you will be replacing them sooner rather then later.
