Title: best place to have a kx500 engine built for street use?
Post by: bwh998 on April 25, 2015, 09:23:57 AM: Hi, my 2002 kx500 seized the lower rod bearing and I'm looking to have it rebuilt, ported and balance the crankshaft. Right now I'm leaning toward pinsonnault, but wanted to hear what you guys think.

He has also done the crank in my current K5SM and he has done the crank for my next generation K5SM which I am still building.

Are u stripping/ building the motor yourself?

I will add that Pinnsonault did a big bore kit for me, and reshaped the head...and gave me a motor that performs exactly like I asked for...again, I really don't see you being disappointed if you decide to choose him.
