Hi, my 2002 kx500 seized the lower rod bearing and I'm looking to have it rebuilt, ported and balance the crankshaft. Right now I'm leaning toward pinsonnault, but wanted to hear what you guys think.

I don't think you'll be disappointed going with Pinnsonault, he has pretty good reputation...Crank Works did mine, and I was very happy with their work.

Todd at Pinsonnault does all my shops crank work.
He has also done the crank in my current K5SM and he has done the crank for my next generation K5SM which I am still building.
Bullet proof...

Are u stripping/ building the motor yourself?

I will add that Pinnsonault did a big bore kit for me, and reshaped the head...and gave me a motor that performs exactly like I asked for...again, I really don't see you being disappointed if you decide to choose him.

Nope, just shipping the whole thing.

Thanks man. What bore and carb size did you go with?

Does anyone know if their road race and kart port job will run on 93 octane pump gas? I can't decide between that and the desert port work.
