Title: 85 kx shock rebuild question
Post by: Phantomtracer on April 11, 2015, 04:16:26 AM
I'm trying to remove the compression adjuster from the reservoir.
I tried rotating the plate with the two holes but it moves an 1/8" then stops.  Do I have to drill out the steel pin on the side?
Anyone remove this before?
I'm thinking there must be a o- ring in there that will need replacing.

How do you post photos?

OK, I drilled the side pin and that did the trick.
Now, anyway to disassemble the adjuster cartridge, Im sure there is another set of o-rings inside.

I lost my nd4speed password on this site.

I have some more 86 tecate rear shock parts coming like that oil bladder you are working on.

Also some tips on where I can get these shocks rebuilt/parts or what I need to do would be great.
