I ran across a post about a gasket being installed inverted. Now thinking back to assembling I did not pay attention to what I did. I have everything torqued down, didn't run it yet. Should I just spring for some new gaskets for safe measures? :-o

not possible with a base but a head gasket you could. Any embossing should always face up, even with Cometic, so says Cometic anyway.

The Kx500 Base gasket CAN be put on upside down. where the power valves sit in the cases is uneven so if it is flipped over the right side will hit the gasket. or at least on the gasket i used.
