Title: Just in case you want to know the shock bladder size of 87 KX250.

Hi all,

So I'm rebuilding my shock since it's leaking and bought some parts.

Here's the bladder size, 46mm OD x 88mm long.

It's a genuine KYB part for a 91 KX125...go figure.

About $41 shipped...fleebay.

dinky,

I serviced my shock last spring and the bladder was like new. What condition was yours in?

The one on the left is the old one, and the one on the right is the new one.

The old one looks OK, but I'm not sure if it was ever changed, and since it should hold over 140psi, I didn't want to take a chance.

Plus it wasn't expensive at $15.

Just wondered if it looked cracked or chaffed. Mine looked like new so I'm thinking it was replaced at some time. I had no leaks just nasty looking fluid and a very slightly bent rod.
