Title: Hi from Australia
Post by: Tommy400f on February 10, 2015, 11:43:25 AM
Hi everyone , I've been wanting to build a kx 500 conversion for years .  And last week a 2004 kx 250f roller fell into my lap .  After doing some home work it seems this bike is not the first choice for a 500 conversion . Most of the info I found  was on af 07 + kx 450s ..  Does anyone know the 04 kxf  250 conversion is worth the trouble or should I source out an 07 + bike .
Thanks  guys

Welcome aboard! The clearances are tighter with the 250F frame and the suspension is for lighter riders. When I bought my SH I had a choice between the 450F or 250F frame. The 2008 450F frame according to SH was a little more robust also.
