complete rebuild on my 2005 kx250.. was wondering if anybody knows if the newer style triple clamps with stem will bolt right up? or do i need to press stock stem into aftermarket clamps? looking to bolt up new style number plate and fender with a new fork set up. any information on upgrades to the 05 kx250 would be greatly appreciated!

I have not tried the later model clamps on this model, if you were serious you would put on a set of after market clamps with less off set to give you more trail to fix the handling .We have the latest front number plate and mud guard on the 06 , you have to use a small bolt and nut to hold the bottom of the number plate on , no big problem , it looks good with this set up.

Hey KXDINO! I also have an 05 KX250. Who still makes aftermarket triple clamps for this bike? What is the offset of the OEM clamps? And what is the desirable offset for the new clamps?
Thanks!

you "should" be able call up Emig, and have them set you up with a clamp setup with KXDINO'S numbers from that link I posted, and be good to go....see what DINO has to say.
