Title: KX500 Engine year.

HI All,  I read a thread on how to identify an Engine year for a KX500.   I followed the thread thorugh Sandbalsters site....But here is the problem.   I have....Supposedly...a 2001 engine.  the cross reference for engine number for 1991 thorugh 2004 is the same "KX500BE013001"   I have a BE series engine, but how can I tell if its a 2001?

Scroll down about 9" and you'll see engine ID ranges that myself and others have put together including your 01.
