Title: 1986 KX500 rear shock swap?

does anyone know if any other year "newer" or different model shock can be made to fit the 86 kx500?

'86 was the last year of the old style vertical uni-trak...so it's highly unlikely you'll get a newer year to work without some modification, but I could be wrong.

84 might work, but as good.
I might have a rebuildanle 86 shock. You need?
