Title: Reed identification
Post by: TheGriz on December 01, 2014, 10:45:59 AM
2001 KX 125
I picked up this bike earlier this summer.  I'm chasing down a rich condition and wanted to see what shape the reeds were in before rejetting.  When I pulled the reed cage out, I found a black plastic insert and a set of graphite reeds.  I was planning to replace them with super stock reeds, but don't know if I want to put this spacer back on.

I can't find a mention of the insert/spacer in my FSM.  Does anyone know what this insert/spacer is all about? Who makes it, etc?  It is the piece on the bottom left of the image... thanks!
