This is driving me nuts! I have a 1985 CDI and a 1989 Stator. I know I can get the two to match, but cant figure out Which wires on the 1985 CDI match to the stator. Im wondering if anyone out there has a 1985 stator that they have images of back and front??
Basically, need to know which of the four wires is grounded to the stator plate? I think its B/Y
Then which two go to the smaller pickup coil?
Then which one goes to the excitor (larger) coil?
Black and B/W are easy, already know them
