Title: kx vs kxf fork size
Post by: unholyvernon on October 26, 2014, 11:02:14 AM: hey guys, I had a question a while back asking if I could use triple clamps from the 06+ KXF 250 on my 06 KX 250,... and after reading your responses and browsing online ive gathered that the triple clamp from the kxf will fit on my kx ... but I wasn't able to find a clear answer about my kx forks fitting in the kxf clamp

i found a set of 07 KXF clamps on ebay and before i buy them i would like to comfirm that the fork sizes are the same so i can use my stock KX forks

If you look at 04-05 kx250F fork sizes I believe they are the same as just about all the KX450F forks.

wow loads of info right there ! lol... thank you very much ... I see that the 07 kxf clamp wont work as the upper clamp are 52mm and my forks are 56mm :(

Post by: Kay ex Rider Ryan on February 23, 2015, 04:34:28 AM: hi guys . im new to this forum an dont really know what to do atm but i am in the process of rebuilding a 1997 kx 125 . i have a quick question . my forks are in a bad way and so is my back shock . could you tell me any fork legs of other bikes what will fit right into my clamps? also does anyone know if a 1997 rm250 showa shock will fit? i have a full 97 rm250 rolling chassis so will be trying that when my frame comes back from powder coating in a couple days . i am watching a set of 06 rmz 450 fork legs on ebay but not sure they will fit could someone please help? :?

Post by: don46 on February 23, 2015, 09:00:29 AM: as I recall you could use 04-05 KX250f as they are KYB, in 06 kawie went to Showa and I'm pretty sure they are different sized
