he's just blending in with the locals...

Wow, seeing how ultra sensitive sponsors are anymore and willingness to dump contracts over anything they might view as an irritant to any segment of society, no matter how small ("what kind of example is he setting for kids, blah, blah, blah"), I'm surprised he'd let a photo him smoking get taken or go public. Personally, IDGAF, but I also know no black mail photos either and definetly not in a public media format.

It is my understanding that a lot more Europeans smoke then here in the states.
Perhaps your right...

Historically haven't American riders struggled in Europe? I would think Caroli will be hard to beat again.

brad lackey, trampas parker and donny schmidt ... thats the americans that could get worldchampions... so youre wrong to say, that all are struggled... european gp-tracks are diferent to us-tracks,thats the point that is to deal with.
a gp-saison is very long and nearly all could happen and after a pre saison race, when all still work on the setup for the bikes and not ride 100% is no really preview for the full saison...
the rider with the best results will win after the saison, where can happen so much like crashs, injuries or technical damage on the bikes... next point: getting the number one plate after only a saison is an awesome thing, that not much riders ever done...
so open your mind and wait what will happen... 8-)

I meant no disrespect, I don't follow racing that closely and have read comments from American riders how hard it is to race in Europe because the tracks are so different to what they are used to. It will be interesting to see how Poto goes, he has some tough competition.

not sure what boots Cairoli was wearing, but they had some pretty bright LED lights built into the shins.
track sure got rough at the end.

yeah it was little bit of a bummer...but he was looking tired the last half of the 2nd race....being 91 degrees and humid too, couldn't have helped either.
-

It's a fun track to ride, I come there more than 25 years.
The section with the woops and double, I almost did the double once
Maybe I have to go there and let them ride mine AF for some nice shouts :-D
Dutchie
-
yeah that is a nice looking track...fast.
definitely go there with your AF, and try to talk Ryan into doing a few laps...then you can post the video on here!
-
IF I can make it hapen, I'll post it ASAP.
Only I hope it won't be to much power for them

Are you going to the Mxgp this Month? Let Ryan ride your k5 in Valkenwaard! Maybe better on this sand track?.
-
Only I hope it won't be to much power for them
Dutchie
 he'd probably want to race it in the MXGP's over his 450 8-)
-
Maybe he want's his 2015 frame and suspension.
He can use the engine for easy holeshots :-D
Valkenswaard isn't deep sand, more soil/sand. Still 500 worthy  Have ridden this track as well.
For some nice deep sand, Lommel is the place to go.
Ryan rides there aswellhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlSf0DR2wU0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlSf0DR2wU0) And this track :-)
Tickets are 70 euro, $74.21.
To much for my tast.

it's not over yet...anything can happen...that's why racing is so exciting!
-
Unless the other top guys have trouble , I don't think he will do it , he needs another year , and should hold off on retiring for 1 more year.
-
he may not...but as any racer knows, anything can happen...any one of the other guys could get hurt or have bike failures and drop way back in points too...it's not over until it's actually over.
