Title: how to clean the carbon out of your exhaust

Then take your exhaust off your bike.
Drink another beer.
Get a bunch of small rocks or nuts and put them in the exhaust.
Drink another beer.
Add some diesel fuel in with the rocks or nuts.
Drink another beer.
Starting to get a good buzz.
Plug both ends of the exhaust.
Drink another beer.
Strap exhaust to tractor tire with implement of choice attached on back of tractor.
Grab case of beer and drive tractor.

Post by: dirk_411 on October 04, 2014, 11:21:47 PM: I've used either real coarse salt or water softener rock salt with isopropyl alcohol. Shake and soak, you can hear how clean it's getting by the noise of the salt on the pipe. Fill maybe half full plug the ends and shake by hand. If it's real bad do it when pipe is warm(not hot) and you may need to do second or 3rd wash. Works for me because I have any one of the mentioned products at home in big quantities.

Whatever works for ya. New parts are great too
