So on the weekend my boy Jordan and I went riding it was his first time with a bike with clutch, We will work on gears next coz the thing wont rev any harder in first. He did a awesome job crashed a few times but got straight back on

Starting to really feel comfortable on bike now

To cool man!! I got mine started a little later (10) but now 5yrs later on the track my fat ass can only keep up for about 5 laps. Now out on the trails its a different story he has no chance. :mrgreen: enjoy it man cause before you know it the roost will be in your face, but then again that's what its all about.

What a great experience for both of you and a big step for any kid who wants to ride.
I'm always looking forward to riding with my grown kids when they find (never enough) time to come back home for a weekend.
I start my grandkids on an old 1980 CR80 which makes them happy (and relieved) to move up to the KX125.
The CR80's a slightly detuned and long retired race bike which teaches gear selection and throttle control all in a small package.
Keep up the lessons. Many rewards to come.
