Finished my forks tonight and am turning attention to the linkage. Have the all balls bearing set and two sets of linkage. On both sets, the back bolt appears to be frozen to the rocker arm.
It looks like I can still get a new sleeve, but will the one in the arm press out easily?

It is suppose to but you won't know till you try it.. :|

Just found and bought another set on Ebay for $20 - this set is disassembled in the pics so hopefully it will be a better set to rebuild. Several others on ebay partially disassembled except for that back bolt. Guess that is a common failure point for people who didn't maintain/grease their linkage.

Second set of Ebay Unitrac linkage arrived today. Very good condition, and it came right apart. Now on to replacing bearings (to be on the safe side)

I'll make a single thread for my progress with this kx sometime.

Tips for installing the new bearings? Old ones came out easy enough, but I can't figure how to start the new ones and have them go in straight.

I don't remember having any issues when installing mine....
I think I put the bearings in the freezer and heated up the linkage parts.
Grease up the parts and they should go in without a problems.
